Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the new born King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!"
Joyful, all ye nations, rise;
Join the triumph of the skies;
With angelic hosts proclaim,
Christ is born in Bethlehem!
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the new born King!"
.
Christ, by highest heav'n adored;
Christ the everlasting Lord;
Come, Desire of Nations come,
Fix in us Thy humble home.
Veiled in flesh, the Godhead see;
Hail th'Incarnate Deity;
Pleased as man with men to dwell,
Jesus our Immanuel!
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the new born King!"
"Glory to the new born King!"
.
Hail the heav'n born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Ris'n with healing in His wings:
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die:
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth!
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the new born King!"
"Glory to the new born King!"

This is one of my favorite Christmas Carols, expressing all that God has done through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour and calling us to join in the triumph of praise in the skies. May we do so this Christmas and each day of our lives!

A friend of ours from church said they had Thanksgiving with a "Jeannie" from Galmi. I'm guessing it was YOU! Her name is Nell Macer. Are you returning to Galmi or are you staying in the states?

That's interesting, I don't know a Nell Macer. Maybe I should. At this time I'm in CA looking after my parents.
Hark the Herald Angels Sing is also one of my favorites because it is so rich in Scripture. As in the fourth line of the third verse, "Ris'n with healing in His wings" is from Malachi 4:2, "But unto you that fear My Name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings."
Have a blessed Christmas.
